Free Camping at Babinda Boulders near Cairns

Babinda is a pretty sugar cane town less than an hour’s south of Cairns set in picturesque countryside amid rainforests, crystal clear rivers, and of course, verdant fields of sugar cane.

There are two beautiful campsites here, both are suitable for tents, caravans and camper vans, and they are both free. Don’t you love that?

  • If you’re planning an Australian road trip in a campervan, call Camperman for a quote. I like them because they’re upfront about costs. Unlimited kms, insurance, toll fees, and extra drivers are all included in their price.
