Acacia Flat campground is near the famous Blue Gum Forest which was saved from the axe by bushwalkers back in the 1930s. Here you can walk among majestic blue gums. One of them is 65 metres tall and over 600 years old.
Acacia Flat Campground can be reached via a 2 km downhill walking track from Perry’s Lookdown. Facilities are basic but there is a shallow river for splashing about in.
