Elder Park is a public open space on the banks of the River Torrens. A Victorian rotunda is the iconic landmark. You can take the 20 minute cruise upstream to the Adelaide Zoo on the Popeye boat, hire paddle boats or bicycles.
Elder Park is the venue for Carols by Candlelight, Symphony Under the Stars, the Adelaide Arts Festival, and the Oz Asia lantern festival.
It’s a gorgeous space for a stroll and is within easy reach of the Adelaide Oval and Adelaide’s cultural boulevard with its museums, library and galleries.
